How BahayRadar handles privacy and analytics
BahayRadar is built as a public foreclosure discovery index. This page explains the limited information we may collect to operate the site, measure useful traffic, prevent abuse, and improve listing quality.

Information we collect
We may collect basic technical and analytics information when you use the site, such as visited pages, search filters, device/browser information, approximate location from analytics tools, referrers, and official-source link clicks.
- We use this information to understand which pages are useful and which source links users open.
- We do not collect bid deposits, reservation fees, rent payments, loan payments, or sale proceeds.
- We do not require public user accounts for browsing MVP foreclosure listings.
How we use information
Technical, analytics, contact, and correction-request information is used only to operate and secure the service, understand aggregate usage, diagnose failures, improve listing quality, respond to requests, and comply with applicable obligations.
- Search terms and filter activity help identify useful pages and data-quality problems.
- Official-source click events help measure whether users can reach verification channels.
- We do not sell personal information or use correction requests to market properties.
Service providers, analytics, and cookies
BahayRadar uses service providers for hosting and infrastructure, network security and content delivery, software deployment, backups, and email delivery. These providers process only the information reasonably needed to perform their services. Google analytics or advertising services are used only when separately configured and disclosed.
- Server and security logs may contain IP address, request path, timestamp, browser details, and error information.
- When enabled, Google Analytics or Google advertising products may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device and browser identifiers, and similar technologies to collect, use, and share information for measurement, security, personalization, and advertising.
- Google Analytics and advertising remain disabled until their production configuration, consent controls, and required disclosures are complete.
Public-source property data
Foreclosure records are collected from publicly accessible bank and government sources for property discovery, official-source matching, freshness monitoring, and correction handling. The current provisional lawful basis is legitimate interest, subject to the documented purpose, necessity, balancing, safeguards, and privacy impact review.
- We publish the primary source reference needed for official matching, but suppress named personal contacts, secondary title/account identifiers, and unreviewed free text.
- Contact us with the listing URL and source reference code if public-source data appears inaccurate, stale, sensitive, or inappropriate to republish.

Retention and security
We retain information only while reasonably needed for its declared purpose, service security, source-history integrity, dispute handling, or applicable legal requirements. Approved targets are summarized below; where automated pruning is incomplete, monthly manual review applies until dry-run validation is complete.
- Successful raw source artifacts target 30 days; failed, unsafe, or disputed artifacts and ordinary operational logs target 90 days.
- Current normalized listings remain while active; hidden or stale history targets 12 months after last seen, while correction, rights, and incident evidence may remain for three years after closure.
- Backups target seven daily and four weekly copies. Unauthorized cached media is removed promptly, with limited provenance retained for review.
- Access controls, least-privileged service roles, encrypted HTTPS transport, backups, and security monitoring are used where applicable.
Your privacy rights
Subject to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable law, individuals may have rights to be informed, access personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, request correction or erasure, and seek available remedies.
- Send a request through the configured public privacy contact and identify the relevant page or interaction.
- We may request proportionate information needed to verify the request and protect another person's data, but do not send sensitive identity documents unless specifically and securely requested.
- You may also raise unresolved concerns with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
Policy changes and contact
This policy may change as BahayRadar adds accounts, alerts, advertising, or other data uses. Material changes should be reflected by the updated and effective dates shown on this page.
- The configured operator is responsible for the privacy contact shown on this page.
- Questions and privacy requests should use the monitored public contact address.
- Property availability, bidding, and payment questions must still go to the official listing source.
