How BahayRadar sources, normalizes, and corrects property data
BahayRadar is a discovery index for public foreclosure records. We organize source data so buyers can search faster, then we point users back to the official bank or government source for final verification.

Our public Cavite catalog currently indexes seven bank and government sources. Historical Metrobank records remain private under a compliance hold; no Metrobank refresh or public catalog route is active. We show the source name, the primary listing reference used for official matching, and an official buyer-action link while keeping raw scraper metadata private.
- We do not claim to own the original bank or government data.
- We do not replace the official source website, sales officer, bid form, or published terms.
- We keep the official source action visible on listing pages whenever available.
Freshness and stale handling
Foreclosure data can change after publication. A property can be sold, removed, corrected, rebid, repriced, or marked unavailable by the source. Our scraper records when a listing was last checked and last seen so users can judge freshness.
- Active means the listing was found in the latest matching source sync.
- Not seen once means a previously indexed listing was missing from a later sync and should be treated carefully.
- Removed means the listing stayed missing after the configured stale threshold or source rules.
What we add
BahayRadar adds search, filters, readable pages, source-specific verification guidance, freshness labels, and official-source click tracking for product analytics. The transaction itself remains with the official source or authorized contact.
- We normalize city, price, area, source, and property-type fields for search.
- We expose only reviewed source-specific facts needed for search or official matching; named contacts, secondary title identifiers, parser fields, and unknown source fields remain private.
- We do not collect bid deposits, reservation fees, sale proceeds, rent payments, or loan payments.
Normalization and source materials
Source wording varies across institutions, so BahayRadar may normalize locations, property types, occupancy labels, prices, areas, and dates for consistent search. The normalized summary can differ in wording from the source record, which remains authoritative.
- Reference codes and source-specific context are preserved where available so users can match the indexed record.
- BahayRadar uses owned property-type illustrations by default. Source photos, logos, and documents remain subject to their owners' rights and are not republished without documented permission.
- A normalized label does not change the legal description, title record, sale terms, or official property classification.
Lawful and bounded collection
BahayRadar collects public, unauthenticated, buyer-facing source material for the declared purposes of property discovery, source verification, freshness monitoring, and correction handling. The current provisional lawful basis is legitimate interest, subject to the documented privacy impact and balancing review.
- Collection must respect applicable source terms and robots instructions and must not bypass authentication, CAPTCHAs, or technical access controls.
- A reviewed field allowlist minimizes personal data; named contacts, unnecessary identifiers, and unknown source fields remain private.
- The source-access register and privacy impact assessment are reviewed as source behavior, public fields, or processing purposes change.
Corrections, removals, and rights concerns
A source owner, rights holder, data subject, or user may request review of an inaccurate, stale, duplicated, sensitive, or rights-affected record through the public contact address shown on this page.
- Include the BahayRadar listing URL, source name, source reference code, requested change, and supporting official source or evidence.
- Do not send identity documents, payment records, bid forms, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
- We review the indexed copy and may correct, restrict, or remove it when supported; only the official source can change the underlying sale record or confirm availability.
